My new 17 arrived today as did my m.2 950 pro but i cant get windows to install on it?

The ssd is detected in bios but whet i try to boot from a usb to install, it says windows cannot be installed on this drive. The selected drive is of the gpt partition style.

    Help :(

OK, I converted the disk to MBR using diskpart, it still appears in Windows Explorer but now it has disappeared from the bios. When I try to install from USB it says that windows cannot be installed on this drive, check that it's controller is activated in bios?

    Have I just wasted £240 on a SSD which I can't use??

Do a disk clean using diskpart and then try to install it again.
