Hi I would like to set the same GPU Clocks as in the battery mode (1,2 Ghz Core; 1,5 Ghz Memory) in the power supply mode. I tried to use Nvidia Inspector but I only get sucess with the memory clock. The Core clock will work the standard boost setting. Can someone help me?

There is no voltage control with the standard factory video bios.

For example: I play The Division on power supply with my custom settings on 45 FPS and very loud fans. If I use the battery (no power supply connected) I got 34 FPS and all fans are running very quiet. I measured the Clocks on CPU and GPU. I would like to play with these 34 FPS with plugged in power supply but quiet fans.

Lock the framerate with nvidia inspector and make a custom windows power profile with max cpu performance on 50% for example.

Use MSI Afterburner. Ctrl+f to bring up boost curve. Set all dots to the stock base clock. This forces the GPU to use less power by never increasing base power instead only decreasing from base power.

The performance is surprising and the decrease in temps is appreciated. I think whisper mode will be similar. It made my gl502vs whisper in WoW.

You can always use a lower powered PSU, that will automatically undervolt the system and make it run cooler/quieter at the expense of some performance.

Geforce Experience. Just force it to 30fps... Or switch your refresh rate to 30hz.

Unless you have Vsync on, screen refresh rate won't impact frame rate.

use afterburner voltage curve (control-f), you can set whatever voltage and core frequency you like

Unless things have changed those are locked down by the vBIOS and you cannot adjust them.

Yes the voltage and frequency curve within MSI AB works. As previously advised in another post, don't set a curve. Just have a flat line from current curve where 1200MHz starts all the way to the right of the graph. This will restrict your GPU from going beyond 1200MHz and its programmed to always strive to achieve this with the minimum voltage required

You know your temeprature is quite low for under load right? It is hard to go even lower. Desktop 1070s with reference coolers run at 80C and aftermarket cards with huge coolers are around 70C.

The AW fan controler starts spinning around 60~65c depending on the CPU, it will be almost impossible for lowering temps because of this because the fans will only spin lower or not turn on at all (unlikely because the CPU needs the fans to cool itself down).
