    Sorry, but TJunction is 100°C for 6-7th Gen core i7 :oops:
    Max PROCHOT signal is set by the ODM, and often a lot lower than 100°C. It's intended for throttle down cpu clock speed. Not as THERMTRIP.

    Hmm, might be. I'll call up Dell and ask if it is normal. Again, yesterday I charged my PC while it was switched off and palm rest felt very hot even when my ambient temp was 25C.
