    Hello,
I bought this set of ram sticks and they were throwing out blue screens and errors like crazy. I assumed it was a faulty pair of ram so I returned it and later bought this. This new pair is also throwing lots of errors. But there's no reason it shouldn't be compatible, did I just get ridiculously unlucky with faulty ram? Or is there a compatibility issue I am not seeing?
    Thanks for any help!

Did you do a Dell diagnostic test on your laptop? From what you say it sounds like it might not be the ram, if you replaced the sticks but the problem remained it could be a windows or other hardware problem like the hard drive.

If you haven't run diagnostics yet you can run from within windows with the Dell tool (might already be on your computer), or reboot laptop and press F12 during start up, and that will take you to the diagnostic option which will do a test on all of your hardware.

Which revision of Alienware 13 do you have? - If you're not sure, you can check that up if you send me a PM with the Service Tag and I'll check that up for you.
