Hello all, hopefully someone around here can help. I have scoured the net over the last few hours and couldn't find a solution.

    I have a 17r4.
I previously cloned the HDD to a Samsung 850 EVO and there were all kinds of problems making it work, but eventually it did. That HDD is now just another drive in the computer. OS operates on the SSD...worked with minimal problems for months.

Tech guy came today to replace the HS and motherboard as it was overheating constantly. Once he put the laptop back together, the thing wouldn't boot. I changed the boot type to AHCI and it still didnt work. The SSD is shown in slot 2 and HDD in slot 4. Neither show up in boot priorites, only WIndows boot master and 2 NIC cards.

I seem to remember before that boot priorities showed the SSD but obviously it doesn't now. Called Dell, they want to reformat stating the boot partition is corrupt. All tests came up passing. I even added a boot file from the SSD in BIOS and set that ass priority. I then got a BSOD with a "inaccessible boot device" error.

    Any ideas?
