    Halp!

So last night, watching anime on the road. Turned laptop off. Battery powered because road, right?

Morning: unpacked laptop. Tried turning on. Not working!!

Ac adapter works. I confirm because it's charging the battery.

I confirm its charging the battery because the led on the power button does the color switching indicator when it's charging (blue-yellow).

I took out the battery from the board and discharged then plugged power cable, won't turn on.

I did the same but with usb power share to charge my phone and test electrical flow, charging phone works.

Is my board dead? this would be expensive considering how I have to replace the gpu and cpu with it even under warranty. More so because I shipped this from USA and am having the ownership transferred to my Philippine address where I live. (Southeast Asia).

    Halp!!

Hi! it happened on 1.2.14 (latest) it happened only after I installed the new bios. It happened again TODAY.

Really I just play games and run on performance OC lv2 with performance fans on (hot country).

The most stress I can think of is witcher 3 if not overwatch.

    Halp?

Halp in that why is this happening and how to prevent this? I'm going out of the country in a couple of weeks for a few weeks vacation and it'd be a hassle to have to keep repeating the process of opening the panel, removing the ram, and touching the pins every now and then.

Sadly I wasn't able to record my older bios setting prior to this update, which I only did because of the dell support app. I had not update my bios since last year and I got this november 2015. At least not that I remember doing.

I had to deal with the no startup/no shutdoen issue.

Never had any issues after with bios 1.2.2 and it has the least issues in general. I like alienware but the bios revisions for the latest models are ridiculously bad.
