First post so be gentle! :)

In a bit of a quandry, about to pull the trigger on a gaming laptop and have been contemplating the difference in panels.

I know the QHD 17.3 inch QHD 120hz G-Sync panel is supposed to be one of the better TN panels out there, how does the 15.6 FHD TN 120hz G-Sync panel compare?

Also is the 4k IPS panel in the 15.6 R4 as good as the 4K 17.3 R5 panel?

I play a lot of fps games so 120hz would probably be the better bet over the 4k panel (I'm also use to 144hz on my desktop rog swift) but a part of me thinks the added resolution and colours might be useful from a screen real estate perspective, also a 4k display will downscale well to 1080p.

If the 15 R4 120hz FHD panel is decent I would opt for the 15.6 inch laptop for the better portability and better longevity out of a 1080p screen. Anyone able to shed some light?

I should add I am going for the 8950HK + 1080 combo in either instance.

    Thanks
