I've been reading that a lot of users have reported heat issues with their A15 R3. I don't know if I've got this issue as well. Under heavy load and monitoring with Hardware Monitor I can see the cores almost reaches 80 degrees Celsius under heavy load and the GPU (1070) reaching almost 58 degrees.
Are these measurements worrying or normal for this computer? Should I be concerned and contact Dell about this issue?
Thanks

Dell will no longer help unless temps are like 110C lol.Vasudev and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -
80°C is super fine with stock Dell paste, if you repaste it with something like thermal grizzly kryonaut, you will have 70°C or less at max

Repaste with IC Diamond using the X Cross method:
The X Cross method is the best in my experience as once the heatsink is fitted, it provides the maximum coverage with the least air bubbles

I've done a lot of testing today in Prime95, HeavyLoad, AIDA64 and HWMonitor. I've attached the screenshots. To me it looks weird that 2 of the cores are running HOT while the other 2 is at descent temperature. Should I be concerned or is it just that the chipset is so new that the software doesn't support it yet?

These are the last two images of the test. The last one "stresstest-6" shows the temperature 2 seconds after the test finished. Goes from 90 degrees to 50 something. Is this normal?
If I re-paste it, will that have a significant effect?Attached Files:

If I chose to repaste it, what about my warranty won't it be voided? Or should I just call Dell and tell them about my finding?
