Hey, I was having trouble with slower speeds on my AW15 and found new drivers on the Killer site released on 13th September. Version 1.1.56.1570

I was getting slower speeds on my AW15 than other devices on my network even on a wired connection and random .net framework errors with the older drivers.

Installing these drivers restored my speed. The install took an age, especially while the old drivers were being removed, so you might have to be patient. If you're having issues, this driver might help.

The driver for windows 10 kind of pissed me off because it is based on new wdi model from Microsoft which is not support softAP yet. I rolled back to windows 8.1 driver for the need of adhoc.

hi just wanted to know when you updated driver suite did you have to disable network killer manager on start up to prevent spike lags or intermittent internet connection? because as of the moment im using the driver when my laptop arrived but just disabled network manager to prevent spike lags..

Hi, I had similar issues as you describe. With new Suite there is no problem.

You know what, the new drivers improved things, but I tried what you said and disabled the Killer Network Manager on restart and I've had the best night of online play since I got the laptop. I disabled the killer manager and wireless and plugged in Ethernet and have had the least amount of lag issues since I got the laptop. Thanks a LOT!

I always game on Ethernet and believed that double shot pro was doing it's thing. I thought the Killer software would just assign the game to the Ethernet connection upon starting the game, but it seems that it is constantly doing something in the background and adding in random amounts of lag.

I saw on the killer site that they have drivers only for download, so you don't have to install the network manager software. I'm gonna try that, but disabling the Killer Network Manager on startup has fully resolved my issues it seems.

    I'll report further info!

LOL.. good to know i was able to help.. this has been my issue when i got the laptop while playing dota 2. lag spike was extreme. the 2 fix i know is by disable killer network on start up or by installing standard driver without killer features.

Yeah, the features in Killer Network Manager are outweighed by the bugs such as bandwidth control settings reapplying themselves. It's much better for stability and performance leaving it disabled.

I see that the latest driver available is the ( KillerSuite_1.1.59.1701...)

My current Driver Version is 11.0.0.558, and the computer is saying that the drive is up to date. Does the latest driver package listed above contain the current driver version ( 11.0.0.558) that I have now?

Am I missing something? The driver version and the file name for the KillerSuite is throwing me off.

Also, if it is recommended to update it (although I am not experiencing any issues) should I just install the whole KillerSuite, or just install the individual driver?

In Device Manger -> Network Adapters -> There are only these two listed that are Killer related:

    • Killer e2400 Gigabit Ethernet Controller
    • Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1535 Wireless Network Adapter
Uninstall both of those first and then install the KillerSuite?

    Just wanting to confirm....

    Thanks.

Don't bother with the Suit, it tends to cause more issues than it helps with. Just get the Bluetooth Drivers and Standard Drivers from here.

    http://www.killernetworking.com/support/driver-downloads

    My WiFi driver is: 12.0.0.230
    NIC: 9.0.0.37
    Bluetooth: 10.0.0.191

I believe they are still the latest.

Thanks. Wow it looks like mine are all old haha.

So in Device Manger -> Bluetooth -> Properties -> Driver -> Update Driver from here?

Or just download them manually and install it that way?

    Same thing?
