    Greetings!

    I'm planning on ordering a 15r2 Skylake w/ 980m, should I be worried about throttling? Should I demand a bigger power brick before ordering?

    From what I know they are shipped with 240watt pwersupplies now which prevent thorttling issues.

    In the R2 series, 980m will ship with 240W adapter. 970m will ship with 180W.

    fwiw I've had no throttling problems at all with my 17r3. And yes I have the 980m and 240W dc

    I have a 15 r1 with a 180W power supply and I didn't notice any throtteling issue. I play Witcher 3 and fifa16 ussually
