    Hey guys,

This is super frustrating, have been working on this all morning and I thought everything was OK until I restarted.

Basically had a 41x OC working with a Prime95 smallTFT torture test holding 4.1Ghz for a few hours.
I restarted the computer and ran the same torture test and now when it hits 94-95W Package Power it TDP Throttles down to 2.8Ghz.

I fooled around with giving it more Volatge or Offset Voltage and no dice.

Can someone be nice enough to take a look at my Throttle Stop setting and see if I'm doing something wrong.

Appreciate any help, I want to continue on my day. But I'm now stuck.

What is your PL settings in bios? Can you show me your hwinfo on your CPU when it throttles?

Looks like your power limit is not sticking and its throttling down to 45w. Try to disable CPU overclock in bios and restart to clear cache. Then try overclocking it again. If not, manually adjust the power limit in throttle stop or xtu to 100w and it should work again.

I wonder if its anything to do with BIOS 1.0.2 but according to HWinfo my PL1 and PL2 power limit are not changing even after clearing the cache. Still stuck at 45w and 100w. How do I manually change them in TS?

I use XTU because for some reason the adjustments sticks better. Load up XTU. Click on advance tuning tab to your left. Adjust turbo boost short max and turbo boost power max to 100w.

I actually set the turbo boost settings all the way to the maximum value of like 4000W or something. This ensures that throttling for TDP is completely disabled. Worked everyone for me. Note you have to do this every time your laptop reboots from a crash/BSOD

Thanks guys I followed your advice. It seems that TS was not working at all even after a few reinstalls. So I just maxed PL1 and PL2 power limits and good to go.
