    Hello fellow people,

Recently I opened up HWinfo and opened the sensors tab wanting to ramp the fans up, and low and behold, the fan button is gone. Could it be due to a newer BIOS that I just installed a couple days ago?

    Thank you !

Did you update HWInfo? Have you disabled EC Support?

How do I disable EC Support? Just to make sure I didn't. And I'll update HWinfo

Oh no, I asked if you updated HWInfo because once you update it, your settings are reset.
Go to settings, and you'll find an option to disable EC Support.

I disabled EC support and the fan button is there and I am able to control each. However, it only allows me to set the fans to 0, 3100 and 6700. Is that how it's supposed to be? I remember it being able to go to any rpm. Maybe it's just me.

On my laptop I noticed some HW Info sensors / readings weren't available when Performance Mode was disabled in the BIOS.

    No, that's how it is.
The CPU or Fan Performance mode?
