Hey all, I now have my 17R3 that I bought with only the HDD. I also bought a 950PRO m.2 and want to move my HDD image over to my 950. I have acronis15 from which I will get an image and I need some BIOS advice B4 I migrate. The bios is set to raid for some reason with only one HDD? Boot is set to priority 1 “windows boot mngr” do these settings need to be changed? After I plug in the 950 what will it show up as in the BIOS and how do I prioritize it? I plan to use a USB ISO image of Acronis to migrate or USB an optical drive disc. Anyone got any tips to make this a smoother transition?
I have read the related post but I'm still not sure about the BIOS settings.
