This forum really needs table formatting or tables in general. Because of the poor table, I'm unable to post my analysis here. You can view the whole analysis through this Alienware Arena link.

This analysis took more time than I imagined. It was a few weeks in the making, but driver updates and game troubles delayed the released of this piece. I tried to make it as professional as possible as well as providing quality. It may be long, but I hope you don't just jump down to the conclusion section. It would mean alot if you took the time to read the analysis. In total, excluding the numbers, the analysis is about 7000 words, and including the data, about 25 pages. This isn't the longest thing I have ever written (and by a long shot, it certainly isn't), but it is an informal research piece with my resources and time.

My deadline was before Windows 10 would officially launch, so while there is an incomplete section, it should not take away what was concluded. I will be updating this once I get to MGS V: GZ (one of the games I would have used), but until then, this is the analysis... over at AWA.

    Hi,

Great analysis; has convinced me to go with the AW13 (need for mobility) and the AGA + 970 (good enough for med settings in most games) my old machine is an Aw 18X (dual CF 6970) who should be nice upgrade!

what is the PSU for the AWA? is it 110V or 110/220V - I purchased it in US/Amazon but am going to use it in Europe... couldn't find confirmation if 220V works! :(

Reading off of the PSU, the only major volts information I found is 100V - 240V. I'm sure a rep can answer better. I don't know if there is a different PSU for each region.

Vast majority (all?) of modern power supplies in electrical equipment are rated from around100V to around 240V, and can be used in any region with different cable or appropriate wall socket adapter (which is only mechanically adapting pins and sockets). Power supplies internally autosense the voltage and there is no switching required. Gone are the times of a PS rated for 110V only, and blowing up when plugged into 220V wall socket (I saw the last one of those well over 10 years ago).
