Hi,
I have two monitors plugged into my Graphics Amp w/ GTX 1080. I noticed in the Nvidia Control Panel it says, regarding HDCP Status, "Alert" "A repeater is connected to your system. Some video applications do not support HDCP when a repeater is present".
I assume this is the reason I can't see any videos with the Netflix/Hulu native apps.
Does anyone have this issue? Is there anything that can be done... No, I do not have a repeater attached... unless they are calling the Amp a repeater!??!
Any thoughts? Does anyone else have this issue?

Go into the Nvidia control panel and see if you can set Netflix and Hulu to use the GTX1080 and not the Intel integrated GPU.
If your laptop is using the internal GPU, it may not be able to output through the AGA. -
I've tried changing that to both integrated and dedicated and back, never makes a difference.
Is there anyone else with a GA that can confirm this problem as well? -
Hulu, Netflix and full screen video in general will not work on my external monitor (Asus PG348Q) and AGA until I disable the integrated Intel 530 completely in Device Manager. Once I disable it all video works just fine.
I'm assuming it's an Optimus issue.

I forgot to mention I don't use HDMI with the GA in the above scenario. I use Display Port.

If by chance you are using 144hz that doesn't support HDCP correctly, change refresh to 120hz.

I have this poblem as well. Thanks to the crappy intel igpu drivers.

Hi rinneh,
I thought the problem I had was due to the nVidia control panel saying "A repeater is connected to your system. Some video applications do not support HDCP when a repeater is present".
I was able to get rid of that messaging by using a different mode on the monitor. However, that got rid of the warning, but I was still unable to view Hulu/Netflix in their windows apps.
I gave up unfortunately and just watch it on the browser. Not as slick as the apps, but oh well. I'm not sure how many others have this issue. -
