When running my graphics amp via an external monitor (connected to the gpu in the amp) I am getting very choppy/laggy performance - this occurs even with just moving windows around the screen. This only happens when I disable the laptop screen and solely use the external monitor. Dell support does not have a solution. I am running a 17r3 with a 980m. The gpu in the amp is a GTX1070. Any ideas????

I had the same problem and it was related to the Intel drivers, what you can do is go to device manager and under display adapters disable the intel HD graphics and the stutter/lag should be resolved.

I get the same issue intermittently. Seems to occur sometimes when alt tabbing out of a game. The game still runs smooth as butter, but dragging a window around on the desktop is all choppy. I've found that going into device manager, disabling the Intel iGPU and then immediately re-enabling it clears it up. It eventually happens again, but it's sort of rare. Also, shutting down Google Chrome has also cleared the problem a few times in the past, without touching device manager, but it doesn't always work. I'm running from 17R3 to Graphics Amp with GTX 1080 to external Dell S2716DG.
