    Dota 2 low fps 980m?

    Hi all. Today I downloaded Dota 2 on my alienware 17r2(4720hq/980m) expecting around 100 fps maxed out but I was able to have 40-60 fps. I'd like to get your thought on this. Do any of you play dota 2?

    EDIT: I had to set a launch command on dota 2. Now I get constant 120 FPS on max. Thread can be deleted.

    What was the launch command? I have the same rig as you but I seem to get around 80fps or so. I do fine on other games and benchmarks.

    it was -nod3d9ex I am currently playing the game @120fps mostly. Rarely dips to 90's.
