I want to buy the Alienware 15R2 but with glossy screen. I hate anti-glare. Does anyone know if it comes in glossy display? If not, does the screen have an anti-glare film over the screen that can be peeled away?

Nope only some touchscreen 4K R2 versions fromt he Microsoft store have a glossy glass screen. All others have anti glare which cannot be peeled off. Its a hardened 3M anti reflection coating on the screen itself.

You could replace the panel with a glossy model, the stock panel really isn't any good anyway...

A number of users here, myself included, replaced our FHD panels for around £50/$50. However, as far as I know, nobody has purchased a glossy screen. Out of preference I suppose, in any case, there tends to be two versions of a panel. Glossy and Non-Glossy. You would need to find a compatible model, where in the world are you?

I'm in america. Its strange that Dell doesnt sell a glossy screen for it. Can you post a link on where they sell the glossy screen replacement?

Maybe you can recommend a laptop with these specs below?
    - Glossy, 1080p, 15.6 inch + touchscreen
    - 8GB ram
    - Nvidia GTX 980M
    - 256 SSD

I was looking at the HP Omen but with Nvidia GTX 960M for $1100. What do you think? Should I get this or Alienware with glossy touchscreen replacement?

Oh, you want touchscreen and not just a glossy panel?! Well that kinda screws things..... Well as far as I know, you're not going to get an Alienware machine in that configuration. Only the 4K panels were touchscreen and they were in the Alienware 15 R1's. I don't know any other laptops off the top of my head with that config either but that's not really saying much as I never intended on getting that spec and kinda stopped looking after getting my new machine.

I'll have a look and and come back to ya.

Oh and if you're looking for the 980M then you'll be pretty underwhelmed with the 960M. Not that its a bad card but there is a pretty big gap between them, I would go for at least the 970M...
