Does anyone know how many PCIe 3.0 lanes the 15r4 has?

I only ask because I have the 512GB pcie m.2 drive Alienware ships with their systems , a Samsung 2.5 inch 840 pro SSD, and today came in the mail my 1TB Samsung 970 pro m.2.

The 970 pro will use up to 4 lanes if available and I’ve read on Toms hardware and one pc magazine website that if you don’t have the available 4 lanes for it to use it’s a waste of money. I also have the 1080 max Q .

If looked around online and can’t find anything about the PCIe lanes that the Alienware 15r4 comes with. Any help would be greatly appreciated

It will use the full 4 lanes. The gpu uses 8, 2 of the ssd's have access for 4 lanes.

The two m.2’s have access to 4 lanes each? I only ask because I also have a normal 2 1/2 inch SSD drive installed . A Samsung 840 pro. It’s old but still really quick. Does anyone know of any apps that would show this kind of information?
