Hey guys, I read a forum post here that mentioned that you should never buy an Alienware without using discounts and that I should ask here about how to buy one with discounts. I'm not sure what discounts the thread was talking about, and I can't remember which post it was...

Anyone know what discounts they're talking about?

You text chat or call sales reps. You can haggle, just stick to a (reasonable) price point and be firm in negotiations. Usually between 10 - 20% off can be negotiated.

When DELL will release the new Alienware, then DELL will give you some discount for 17R4 and 15R3, now maybe not true.
