Is that a full 1080? Either way, that's an outstanding deal. I never liked the AW look, too much gimmicky for me. But for the specs, that's a steal.
I'm pulling the trigger on a Clevo PB51EF-G barebone tomorrow. -
Unfortunately not a full 1080 - the only 1080 the 15r4 comes with is the max q. -

That's more than just a decent deal with the i9 and 1080. I don't see anything near that on the outlet even with a 14% off coupon.

I was able to pick up the following clearance model for $1242 including tax from a local Best Buy over the weekend:
i7-8750H
256GB PCIe SSD
1TB HDD
GTX 1070
FHD 60hz GSync
99Wh Battery
Killer 1550 Wifi
The sad part is the out of the box gaming performance is more or less the same as the MSI WT75 w/GTX 1070 installed, for ~2000 less... The new fan controller is much improved as well. No longer do I have to listen to the fan grind as it kicks on and off every thirty seconds while web browsing, as it did on the 17R4. The anti-glare coating on the AUO309D panel is much better than the AUO109D from the 17R4. No longer is the LG panel a must need swap. I do hate the Killer Wifi 1550 card, though. Even with just the latest drivers from Intel it drops the connection every 10 minutes or so.custom90gt likes this. -
Man, I thought my 17r5 was a good deal from the outlet a month or so ago, i7, 1080, 1440p gsync and per key rgb for 2100 (with 2 years premium support) but you guys are blowing me out of the water.
Decent deals at the Dell outlet for Alienware systems
