    Hello,

So I just finished a clean windows 10 install on my Alienware 15 R1. I was wondering what things I need to download from the dell site to keep the laptop running smooth..

I initially had issues with the on-board sound (wouldn't come out of the laptop speakers but rather my external monitor). After I flashed the BIOS it was good to go.. But to avoid any future problems etc I was wondering if anyone could let me know what I should download... Sorry noob question.

Yeah, I ran into problems, and from my experience you should download the Qualcomm Killer drivers from the killer website, not from dell: http://www.killernetworking.com/support/driver-downloads

I ran into multiple BSOD a day with the driver at dell.com, other than that I think everything works ok but install only the things that are useful for you, for instance dell includes the free fall data protection software but than is only useful if your laptop includes a mechanical hard drive, otherwise it is pointless.
