Hi guys, got a bit of an issue with an alienware 15r3.

I had a tech round today to replace the motherboard as the headphone socket was broken. Got it fixed, all good.

Once he'd left I noticed that my 1TB storage hard drive was missing (still have a pcie ssd) I popped it open and plugged it back in, all good.

However now, on boot, it keeps coming up without the message - "checking media presence" followed by "no media present"

It seems to get over this though and then boots as normal with both hard drives showing and useable.

I'm guessing ita something to do with the boot order in bios, but could use a little help.

    Thanks :)

    Alex

Change boot order from IPv4/6 to Windows Boot Mgr or Ubuntu if any.

Managed to fix this issue if anyone else has the issue I had to upgrade bios to 1.09 as before when I put the boot order to windows boot manager it wouldn't save the settings.
