Just got a new ssd last week so I reinstalled windows on it. When I set it up I forgot to switch it to ahci from raid, noob move. So I have been trying to switch it to ahci without success. I then tried to go into safe mode but I have no options! I have never experienced this before! Says windows re is disabled also.

What happens when you revert to RAID? Can you boot Windows? Go into safe mode?

Looks like something else is wrong then. I followed this procedure to switch to AHCI: 1) Downloaded drivers 2) Told windows to reboot in safe mode 3) Before it did, switched to AHCI in BIOS - it booted in safe mode after switched to AHCI 4) Installed drivers in safe mode 5) Rebooted

Cant make a recovery drive.

To top things off, I got connected to the same guy and showed him a piece of my mind. His excuse is laughable.

I think Win recovery partition wasn't created OR Maybe safe mode was corrupted.
Try this cmd:Code:bcdedit /set {default} safeboot minimal
