    Can i move my SSD from i5-4210h to i7-4710hq?

    Simply put i own the i5-4210h, great machine apart from a slight warranty problem, but now i realised i made a mistake and should have gone for the i7. i know someone who is willing to do a swap.

    Would there be any issue at all if i simply moved my SSD over to the i7 CPU, that would be the ONLY difference, graphics card and everything else is identical.

    I keep reading about BSOD and maybe the Windows key is embedded into the laptop bios? i really don't want to have to install everything again, or do i have to start from scratch?

    you are not going to have any problem .... the drivers are the same, endeed the chipset is the same
