Hey guys. So ever since I installed windows 10 64bit on my 17 R3 everything was going well for a few weeks. Suddenly today I decide to pair my dualshock 4 controller to bluetooth it was hanging on me but I did get it to connect once. I restarted the computer and now the bluetooth icon is missing completely. I don't see it in device manager nor the tray where I normally go to access bluetooth. Even under settings it's missing. I've already downloaded and installed the latest killer bluetooth driver from the killer site but still missing. Any ideas? It was working prior to the restart.

If you're using the SCP (Scarlet Crush Productions) method to pair your controller (I do) then your Bluetooth is out of action for any other devices. It effectively sets up a Bluetooth server for the controller which renders it useless for any other device.

If you want to revert to your stock Bluetooth setting then you can find the additional drivers under device manager, just remove them and reinstall the Killer drivers and you should be good.

If you want to set up your PS4 pad for Bluetooth connection then see here: https://github.com/nefarius/ScpToolkit

This is what I use, I don't use Bluetooth for anything else so I don't mind that it's exclusive to the pad...

Thanks. I tried this method. When I push the PS button on my dualshock 4 scp says dualshock 4 controller found but it doesn't work. Ds4Windows no longer sees it, so I can't use it as a xbox controller. The touchpad doesn't work at all, so I'm guessing it's not actually connected as the lightbar doesnt come on.

To be fair, the instructions are not entirely complete. I found that to get mine working I had to do a number of things (several times might I add!) to get it to work. One thing I can tell you is that the pretty looking tool didn't work for me but..... In the folder are all of the tools to get it working. Unfortunately I can't remember off the top of my head so when I get home from work, I'll go through what I did, snap some screens for you and see if that will help.
