Almost every time I open the lid of the computer I get a BSOD. Multiple errors.

Anyone see this happening? Alienware 15 (late 2015) bottom line, nothing special in it.

I don't have my laptop yet, but yours seems to be the first reported case of this, as I've been lurking on all the forums ever since I ordered.. :D
Anyway, some specifics would be needed before any help can be given; what are the errors you're getting?

Also saw on another thread that your discrete graphics card is not being used for gaming, so it does look like your computer's got some serious issues.

When I was running on a heavy undervolted CPU the lid action would crash my PC. but if everything is stock. I suspect something really weird is going on.

Lid closing/opening is an "event". To see what it's triggering, click on the power icon on the lower-right taskbar, and click on "more power options". Here you can change your power plan settings, and then change "advanced settings". Finally, if you scroll down you'll find the options for "lid closing" or something like that.

Whatever it's currently set to is what's crashing your machine. My bet is that your anti-virus is running interference.

Try to "reset" your PC in the windows settings , make sure you backup all your personal files and installation files before doing this. This should bring your pc back to a semi fresh state, sounds like either a) you have some driver conflicts (software based) or b) you may have a faulty piece of hardware could be anything. If the reset doesnt work I would do a clean install of windows 10, I had alot of driver issues with the killer NIC and slow restarts which was solved by clean install. If you do a clean install and get the blue screen still I would call alienware tech support right away.

If you'd take a picture of the errors, that would be nice. It could be any number of things.

Try to disable write-caching on the disk drive through device manager, properties, policies. And if that doesn't work, maybe it's a memory issue.

Google the error code that the BSOD provides, should give you a idea of whats going on.
