When I first got my AW17R3 I was on the (now) second-to-latest version. I was able to go into the BIOS and I had RAM settings to enable custom timings, or select XMP1 or XMP2. I need these options for the RAM I am currently using.

Since I have upgraded to the latest BIOS, I no longer have these RAM settings...

I have also noticed that someone else had a YouTube video that showed DIMM performance options under the CPU overclocking options. I never saw that in either BIOS...

Is it possible to downgrade the BIOS to get these options back?

You can downgrade your BIOS to an older version. Plenty of users here have done it.

That's fine. Whichever BIOS gives you the best results should be fine.
