Ok. I’ve had a mobo replacement with heatsink replaced. With some repasting the temps are very reasonable (nothing in the 90s for cpu but last board had high 90s and no noticeable frame drop playing games) . There is no throttling or overheating with the cpu now.
But it seems I get major stutter/lock ups while gaming now. FPS spike a lot.
This occurs even with a clean install with just the basic of drivers installed and tried this on two different drives. Same thing.
So what is the likely cause?
This is doing my nut in. Got a 3 weeks left before warranty expires.

    Thank

Extend the warranty or phone and complain.
