So with a fresh new windows 10 install created from the media creation tool and also the included USB media recovery that came with the laptop, I cannot figure out why most of the drivers won't install. Used my service tag to pull up a list of drivers for my machine and made sure to select windows 10 as the OS and even tried installing in the recommended order. First one they suggest is the Alienware control thing and that refuses to install. Never had this kind of issue on windows 7 and 8. Anybody have suggestions?

Edit: turns out you just need to put the driver files on desktop and they will install. However there are still some drivers that immediately fail like the thunderbolt one and Alienware on screen display. But at least the critical ones work.

Double Edit: Ok so for the few that refused to install, dell on screen display, command center, etc, you just have to extract them manually into a folder on desktop, and then you can run the .exe file to install the driver.

Why couldn't dell just give us a factory image on the usb stick -___-
