Hi all, after several attempts to try to fix my stuttering problem in my laptop, I've managed to strip several screws and break off the Wi-Fi antenna. At this point, I know that I'm not able to solve the issue on my own, and my warranty has expired some time ago. Right now, my system is repasted using MX-2.

My temps aren't awful (82C max load on hottest core) but I do have a bit of a temp differential (around 10C), but frankly I don't care about this because my issue isn't thermal throttling. The biggest problem I have is the VRel stuttering that happens 30 minutes into a graphically intensive game like Hitman. I know the likely culprit is improper contact between the heatsink and the VRMs and chokes.

I've tried this about a dozen times now and I simply can't seem to get the thermal pad shapes right. At this point, I would be willing to pay a substantial fee to anyone who could give me the peace of mind and do the repad in my place. I do love this laptop GSync 1440p screen, it's the only reason preventing me from switching to another laptop at this point.

I will be moving to London around end of July, so to anyone in the area who is interested, please reply to this thread or shoot me a PM, I would really appreciate it!

Is there a shop in London that specializes in Alienware repairs? I couldn't find anything online... What is it called?

Hi, I have tried repasting my cousin's alienware 15 r3 using grizzly kryonaut once and still had max 5 celcius max difference between core. It was from 90++ temp down to 60++ temp.. Basically I am not an expert with this but my recommendation is asking @Pete Light as he is from the UK(learned this from lurkering the forum and reading post). He does repaste for a fee I guess.. He is good from what I have read in the forum.. Try asking him, he might help..

Sure you can add me on discord buddy: Quasar#4814

The forum won't let you PM until you've made like 5 or 10 posts I think.
