Hello! I'm in the market to buy a M13, moving on up from my M11x R3 I've had for 4 years now. Are there any Alienware Sales Reps around to help cut me a cool deal? :)

    Thanks a lot!

    Ciao

Yeah, I think you'll be better off just calling Dell and cutting your own deal on the phone. There is very little in the way of Dell representative presence round here, and when they do turn up, it's very vague. :)

Here's one! haha. Unfortunately, I'm not from sales though. I don't think there are any sales reps out here. I'd give the call a try.

Best prices will always be on the outlet stock, if you can find what you want. Half price, sometimes, although there will be issues with the computer you get. If you don't mind working with tech support you will save real money. And if you already have a computer you can take the time to wait for what you want.

Best way to get the best price on new stock is to start a chat session will Dell reps. When you have the config you want and you're ready to buy, they'll phone you. You might save two hundred bucks this way, but they're not giving away their new stock.

Worst worst way is to go through an affiliate group purchase program. Options will be limited, delivery will take an extra week or two and you're required to speak to a dedicated support staff that is overworked and undertrained--compared to the already overworked and undertrained Dell sales staff.

I'm from the UK but I assume the US can do similar.

I had a chat with the sales rep online and managed to get 10% off my 17 r3. Knowing the exact model and the options I wanted to add would have been sensible but he was patient :)

Had to order on the same day though but it was straight-forward
