As title suggests, ALL the lights have stopped working on my Alienware 17 R3 including the HD / WIFI, Trackpad, KB, Logo, Power etc.

Command Centre is not showing any error's - and allows me to change theme's etc, but nothing... its as though "go dark" is enabled, when its not.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to fix... but I suspect a new board is needed :(

I had an AlienFX problem that the powerbutton wouldnt light up anymore. even though it worked fine in the AlienFX light tester application. For me it was solved with a new board. The new revision boards run a bit cooler as well.

Sometimes it's just a software problem. Try reflashing the bios and reinstalling the drivers for AlienFX

Check your USB devices in device manager. My 13's lights were acting up but uninstalling an unidentified USB device and then powering the computer off and back on fixed it.

My 17r4 just did it a minute ago and uninstalling the malfunctioning USB device fixed it again.
