Hi, does anyone already has a new alienware m17 models (2060 or 2070 max-q) ? Have seen some gaming tests - the initial components temperatures are ok in average but what is the situation on latop surface and noise?
Previously i've had couple of thin and powerful laptops and they were hot and loud as hell making games hardly bearable to play after 15-20 minutes... Thanks!

Sad fact is almost all thin and light gaming laptops are a throttling mess.

You will have to undervolt and repaste. Also don't overclock it. My friend M17 r1's mojo has been replaced twice in just 8 months. He cries every night.

Sad to see the quality go down hill for the last couple of years. -
The 51m looks awesome. But not sure if they have fixed the burning issue.IKAS V likes this. -
I know they are not the only company to use that set up but I still think it’s dumb. -

I know Eurocom once offered a beefy PSU that would of done the job, it was still pretty big but at least you would only need one. -
