This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Yeah im not going to spend a couple grand on a laptop that I have to sticker up forever.

    Neither is my friend, he settled for some new clevo 8750/1060 laptop. Thats not to say I think people should hate the laptop or anything, to each their own right?

    Dbrand is quite nice actually. Saying its a sticker doesn't give it justice. Very good quality.

    FWIW, I hate glossy bezels and do think it was a mistake for Alienware to include them on this. That said, I ordered anyway. You get used to it before to long. I personally wont mess with a dbrand or anything on mine.

    I also wouldn't be surprised if Dell introduced a refresh of these early to mid next year with matte bezels and the new CPU/GPUs.

    New CPU/GPU would not surprise me, matte bezel would surprise me greatly.
