    Hi,

Yesterday I've deleted all partitions and I made clean install of Windows 8.1. I've installed all drivers from Alienware website, starting from the chipset ones.
Unfortunately I've noticed that my laptop fans keep spinning. Before the clean install, when I was browsing internet, my laptop was very quiet and fans were only spinning while gaming and now they are spinning all the time.

Anyone had similar problems? What tests should I do?

    Please help,

    Thanks
    Marcin

I think you should check for the heat or something like that. Dell fan profile is quiet. I didn't notice the fan until the temp reach over 80C. Or you may want to check if its fan have dust or something make it hot so the fan run continuously.

By the way, if you have any app that control fans? I use HWinfo to control my fan when playing games, it keeps my laptop cool enough for hours. Not like the default in dell, so freaking hot for like 2-3 hours playing.
