    Hi all,
So I was testing the speakers and its volume is very low even on max. 100% on my alienware is about the same as my iphone's 60% volume. I have the laptop for 4-5 days now and I have been using my headset untill now. I was shocked to see a high end laptop sounding this awful. I asked my friend who has a 17r1 how his speakers sound and he said his neighbours would be disturbed if he would set his laptop to 100% volume. Is it only my 17r2 or does yours sound low too? I tried reinstalling audio drivers and still no luck.

Yeah the speakers are weaker than the R1, or least that has been my experience. The R1 had loud speakers, the r2 seem anemic. I found if you go into the Recon3Di control panel under SBX Pro Studio, and select smart volume 'loud' it sounds much better. They are still weaker though on the whole. Hope that helps some.
