    Alienware 17r2 Display panel upgrade

    The AW17r2 has a 40 pin eDP connector, AFAIK, and i'd like to upgrade to a 120hz panel.

    I am aware that this connects straight to the iGPU, but the 4600 can take 4k@60hz, so 120 @1080 or 120@1440 should be possible.. on paper.

    Any advice or leads on such a panel ?

    NB : I will report through the whole process, for further reference.
