My specs is intel i7-4720HQ and 980M with 240W, I recently upgraded to windows 10 November quite couple weeks. Today I checked on Hwinfo and Task Manager, I saw that my CPU always running at 2.6 GHz for maximum performance. I tried play GTA V but it still happen like that. I tried run in windows PE, and run hwinfo, I see my CPU go back to 3.6 GHz with single core at maximum performance. I have already run in safe mode but still the same problems. So I came to conclude that windows 10 nov. update caused something to the CPU.

I posted here just want to check if anyone here have a problem like me? I might contact MS for the problems or even reinstall windows if needed. But I would like to check with Alienware's owner here first. Or if someone can help me diagnose this problem.
