Hello! I bought this laptop. Second hand. The laptop is like a new one. It came without a charger.
Problem One: When I turn on my laptop the screen show me this message: "AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined". And now the battery can not be charged. I bought this charger http://www.ebay.de/itm/Netzteil-Del...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 and this kabel https://www.amazon.de/Naths-Hardwar...qid=1510880027&sr=8-3&keywords=naths+hardware.

Problem Two: I have no sound through the speakers. When i plug in headphones, i have sound. Everything seems normal.

I tried with a new Windows, no change. I opened the laptop and everything seems normal. The speakers are connected to the motherboard.

    Please Help!!!

Guess it wasn't so new and perfect after all! :)

Have you run the Dell diagnostic test from the Dell support website? This will reboot to BIOS and test all hardware without complication of running the OS too

When I got my laptop, the battery was charged. Тhe problem is either in the charger or the power cord.
For the sound, does not find any errors. In Windows and in bios everything is normal. I tried several drivers, there is no change. Нo sound through the speakers and the subwoofer. If I flash the BIOS, maybe the sound will work. But without a battery I do not know how to do it.
