    Hi all,

After a 4th repaste and cleaning job on my Alienware 17 R4 GTX1080 my laptop will not boot anymore. I have not done anything different then the previous times and im a little bit lost to what the issue is.

The laptop wont do anything anymore no lights no power up looks just dead.

Looking for any suggestions you guys could give me as to what could possible be the issue before i discontinue it and buy a new one. took it apart 2 times more to double check all connectors are properly in their socket and everything seems fine.

Any help for troubleshooting you all could give would be highly appreciated before i junk a 3000euro laptop.

Weird. Make sure all the cables are plugged in right. The power button connects on the top side of the motherboard (near the display connector). Make sure that is plugged in and also make sure the battery and the AC plug are in order. I don't see a way GC Extreme will cause damage.
