Hi! I was wondering if anyone got this with the TN display 1440p 120hz 4ms g-sync. Haven't got the option yet here in Norway and originally ordered the clevo p665 but it got sold out and late delivery in November, then went for the p775 but after reading some post on bad keyboard and cheap plastic I'm considering the 17 R4 since it's coming with a 1440 display, the specs looks good also. I'm wondering about the TN though.

Thx brother! Still don't know why they don't bundle the 6820k with this display... Aorus x7 v6 does it and have roughly the same specs.

They are out of 6820HK motherboards with Gsync enabled. It will come back in stock.

Thx rinneh, that's very good. I'm certain I'm going for this laptop if the QHD display is good and the 6820k gsync combo is back in stock! I've ordered 3 laptops the last month and ended up deleting the orders because of the waiting time, and the fact that Aorus x7 v6 has a potential display problem and bad build quality.

I think / have a feeling you may have to wait a while see tweet linked below. hes hinting at some kind of upgrade announcement coming soon whether thats the 6820 w/ Gysync and 1080 or kaby lake can only be speculation but I'd put a beer it wont be this side of christmas holidays....

I can wait until the new year if needed, bought myself a old xps so I can design webpages until it gets ready. Though kaby lake won't be mind blowing, it's good having the latest tech when you are gonna spend some money...

Never had Alienware but from the post on this forum ppl are loving it. Also build quality is important as I will drag it with me in meetings etc.
