    Recent memory upgrade for my Alienware 17 R3
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 260-Pin DDR4 SO-DIMM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Laptop Memory Model F4-2400C16D-32GRS


    Running Dell Diagnostics Test I encounter a warning error

    PCI-e Training error PCI-tag 0200 Vendor ID-10DE Device ID-1C03 SVid 1458 SDid 3741 Bus 02: Link Degraded, maxWidth x8 ,negWidth x4, Slot 2

    Pass all other memory test

    Memory works great shows all 32GB with the 2400 Did I install memory that was too high in Mhz ?

    Odd error anyone esle get this?

    if you go back to your old memory set, did you get the same error performing the test?

    Why did you run the test? have you experienced any unusual behavior or error while using the machine?

    I run test for ever upgrades that I do memory and hard drive

    Im going to install old memory see what I results I get....
