    Hello,
I bought alienware 17 r2 and received it 10 days ago.I was busy with moving out my house so i probably used it for no more than 3-4 hours in these 10 days (it didn't leave its original package the first week) and when i opened it the evening i noticed that in the bla
ck alienware background picture i have a green pixel dot.I thought it is a dust in the start but it is not. When my screen is black i have a green pixel and when it is white i have a red pixel.I ran these youtube pixel fix things and it seemed to work. The next day it was the same again. When i put my mouse near it it becomes more faded for i dont know what reason.Should i contact technical support about it or i can fix it myself ? I am not happy that if they are to repair the laptop they will put refurbished LCD screen to brand new 10 days old laptop instead of planting a brand new one.I think i can also still return the product since it hasnt passed the return period time.
    What do you think ?
    Kind regards
    Jumhur

I gave them a call this morning and they said they would send a technician to replace my display but it will be refurbished part. They told me system replacement is not possible unless a technician makes a few repairs first so i opted for the full refund option. The last 3 technicians who fixed my alienware 18 opened the keyboard panel with spatula and broke all the clippers holding it which led to big part replacement and im sure if i go for the repair that would happen again and i cant be bothered anymore with this i guess.
