But recently, I start very slow laptop, take from 4-5 minutes to in Windows 8.1. Bios: A01, Power: 180W. Windows 8.1 install on SSD. I did upgrade to Bios A05, but the situation is still the same, no improvement.

I also used the factory-installed AlienRespawn but the situation is still not remedied.

More problem: The machine I have 2 hard drives, SSD 256GB and 1TB Sata, but sometimes boot windows and saw loss 1TB hard drive, 256GB SSD hard drive only. I have to shutdown and restart multiple times, the new 1TB drive.

Once booted into windows, the laptop running smoothly with the application, not an error.

hi ill try to help as much as i can. about the slow boot time, in my experience the cause of that was the dell software named support assist. everytime i boot up my machine my cpu fan throttles to max speed for a few seconds and gpu fan follows. this was causing lag and slowing my laptop. i have searched in some forums and the solution was to uninstall dell support assist and dell support agent and waallah it solved the problem. hope that helps..
