i don’t really know how to explain it but the only thing that bothers me with my new laptop is the monitor. There is no screen tearing and I don’t see ghosting or banding.
The issue believe it or not is it’s almost too bright , to the point I sometimes can’t even read items on the desktop. I have turned off the auto dimming feature and I changed the settings from auto to let Nvidia take control of the settings and with that I lowered the brightness to 5. And for some reason there are times I have to open up Nvidia control panel , brightness is still set on 5. And I have to move it from 5 to 6 and back to 5 to make the brightness go back to my settings which are fine but some setting must be wrong for me to have the brightness on 5 out of 100.

Has anyone else had this issue with this screen? I can’t deny the performance I am seeing while gaming, and if it wasn’t bright enough I’d complain, but in a dark bedroom etc I can’t seem to get the brightness/ contrast ratio correct. If anyone else has had the issue please let me know.
