Hello
I've got an Alienware 15R3 with the Intel i7 6700HQ. I bought some HyperX DDR4 2667mhz ram to upgrade from 16GB to 32GB (16x2). The RAM is CL15 rated and higher speed than the 2400mhz that came with the system. The RAM says it is XMP certified and from reading online, I should be able to activate an XMP profile on the motherboard BIOS. But I could't find it. I did select CPU performance mode and will be doing some benchmarking to see if it makes any difference (not expecting much).
Does anyone have experience with this?

The switchiing in my case happened automatically, my Bios shows no such XMP switches.
Can you send pictures as above?
I also had 16 Gb stock RAM and 32 Gb is certainly better and lower latency, minumum framerate drops in games are showing less than with stock 16 Gb @ higher latency RAM and since I completely turned off pagefile, my NVME does not get so hot. -
I guess the numbers seem good. Thank you for posting.
I did switch to CPU Performance Mode in the BIOS. Fans seems to be on constantly now (not full, but constant low hum), but temps have not changed.
