Yes, by the 19th or something? Not sure of the date. It was mentioned on Twitter.

Never on the AW 15. Heatpipes aren't large enough.

AW17 on Nov 19th with the GTX 1080, not the 15. 110% positive.

    1080p (1920x1080) is a resolution, the GTX 1080 is a graphics card

I see, but haven't we seen Alienware doing this kind of upgrades in the past ? I want to update from my Alienware 2013 model but not sure if I will be happy with 1070 :(

Normally I'd say yes, but the thermals are WAY higher on the 1080 than any recent GPU in the AW lineup (980m etc). They need the extra thermal headroom on the 17 to support it. Even then, it will run pretty toasty.

If I am not wrong, there are no 15" with 1080 right ? and what do you think about going with 1070 ?

What do you mean... I think you're asking the same question over and over again

    AW 13: 1060
    AW 15: 1060, 1070
    AW 17: 1060,1070, 1080
    (Ignoring AMD offerings)

There are no 15" 1080s for the same reason that we didn't have 980 DT in 15" - thermal constraints.

The 1070 should be good for 3+ years at 1080p.

Yes, I was mistaken! My apologies. The 1080 is only for the AW 17. But the date should be accurate.

The Eurocom Tornado F5 apparently will be undergoing testing for a 150W GTX 1080. So we may have one 15" 1080 option in the near future.
