    Hi!

so I've been having start up issues lately. Primarily since purchasing a new razer orbweaver. Primarily to bring some semblance of balance when my arms are playing. It's been hurting my shoulders having to play with my arms in a /_/ position. Now it's a \_/

Anyway, windows boots up no problem. It's just that at some point during start up, it stops loading anything.

For example: Normally when I turn it on, everything works just fine. When the issue pops up, it seems to stop loading everything. Viber / HWINFO / all my other startup applications. It won't even load the control panel or the windows 10 settings menu.

On dell support assist, I have red flags.
September 29 (first time I noticed) - it's a killernic trouble. I had this updated and it's okay now.
Sept 30 - a razer BEX error. Fault engine 5
From sept 30 onwards, it's all razer BEX error Fault engine 5.
concerned exe is razeringameengine.exe with errors varying between red and yellow flags. I honestly don't know if this is the cause or if there's some kind of start up bottleneck going on.

EDIT: Another issue I've just noticed is that my battery doesn't charge up to 100% anymore. Last night it peaked at 84.1%. Now it's at 77% with plugged in not charging. My bios settings are at standard charge and my desktop mode is disabled.

Looking for help on diagnostics or solutions.

    Thanks.

For reference: on boot, I normally have a mouse, my phone, and the orbweaver on. Always has been that way.

Startup programs include torrent / gdrive / origin / synapse / steam / blizzard game launcher.

    W10 / i7 6820hk / gtx 980m / 1tb ssd m2 / 1tb hdd / 16gb ram.

Are you using RAID or AHCI? Killer drivers v1.59 had some problems, so I'm using v1.57 and it seems speedtest app isn't working, that's the only bug ATM for asian servers. Did 1TB ship with your dell AW or did you install it yourself? Is boot drive an NVMe or SATA drive? Finally Win 10 RS1 with latest 229 are having some issues, I don't know exactly, I'm on build 105.
Sorry for putting up so many questions, its for easy troubleshooting.

    Both drives shipped as is.
I haven't modded anything at all.
bootdrive is the m2.ssd. Don't know if that's an NVME.
    Data drive is the NVME

Pretty sure I'm on AHCI. I'm on killersuite 1.1.64

Unaware about the win10 version. I Do know I have the latest updates. build 14393 if that helps.

Open AW on screen display and enable desktop mode charge. Also, click on Charge to 100% one time.
Disconnect all your peripherals because sometimes even I had issues starting up my PC with black screening. Connect all your periherals once you see win 10 loin screen.

I've done the enable/disable bit. Even the power drain. Multiple times I've done the charge to 100% one time. It hasn't gone beyond it so far. I've also tried using HWINFO to monitor my charging. It does take power in, it just stops taking power at certain breakpoints. the most I've had lately was 84%.

    thing is it doesn't show.
As advertised, my full capacity is 95Wh. I am now at 68.76Wh.
Charge level 84.2%, charge rate 0.

No wear level indicated. I am running hwinfo64. Is there a setting i need to fix for that to show up? On bios, it says the battery is performing normally or something to that tune.

68WH already indicates your battery has a little wear and tear. In reality, you'll now be seeing a 20% reduction in battery life. As of now, my laptop's wear level increased by increased by .6%. It was .2% when unboxed.

Even I've observed the same bug where the EFI BIOS fails to recognize when multiple OSes are installed to separate SSDs. AHCI mode of ATA mode could be the cause of the problem, RAID works without any problems. Maybe a BIOS update could resolve this issue.
