    Alienware 15 r1 gtx 970m unable to flash default vbios

    As the topic states i get a weird error saying something command something failed. Help please :/
    this same error
    Edit: fixed it ... booted into safe mode :p

    When you say fixed it, did you just use the same commands but in safe mode? Or did you perform a force flash?

    Did you disable the card in device manager?
    Are you 100% sure that you are using the correct vBIOS file?

    Yes , just used the same command in safe mode. Most likely the active driver wasn't allowing flash to occur.
    On a side note, i don't know how but after going back to stock vbios my power throttling issues automatically resolved for the CPU with -60mv undervolt :)
